THE County Gazette has teamed up with St Margaret's Hospice to auction a set of five tickets for Royal Ascot.

The tickets, which are worth around £250 each, are for the sold-out Queen Anne Enclosure, offering race goers the chance to get close to the action on Friday, June 17.

The auction is being held as part ofthe County Gazette's 180th anniversary celebrations.

We have teamed up with St Margaret's Hospice to launch a special appeal, aiming to raise £180,000 for the charity.

The Royal Ascot course says: "On the lawns and terraces of the Queen Anne Enclosure, you can enjoy first-rate views of the day’s six races, joining the jubilant crowds as they cheer each winner home.

"Here you’ll be at the heart of the day’s activity. Close to the runners and riders in the Pre-Parade and Parade Ring and front row as the Royal Procession passes by the Grandstand.

"After the last race is over, the celebrations continue with wonderful communal singing on the Bandstand lawn.

"In the Queen Anne Enclosure you will be right there as history unfolds."

We are accepting blind bids for the five tickets, with a reserve price of £175 per ticket, or £800 for the five.

Email your bids to 180@countygazette.co.uk by noon on Wednesday, June 15, along with your name and contact details, to be in with a chance of being part of history at Royal Ascot.
