HEIDE Christopher John. Chris sadly passed away on 23rd September aged 66. Beloved husband of Steph. Cherished brother of Kaaren and the late Jeff and loyal friend of many. Former public analyst of Somerset and dedicated member of Devon and Somerset Gliding Club. Donations in memory of Chris are for the British Lung Foundation. So sorry to hear the news. We shared many good moments, pigeons and pints (in the 80s, The Four Alls also RIP I believe!)....Chris was such a gentle man in every sense. Condolences to Steph and all our mutual friends. Andy and Ju.

I was fortunate to work with Chris when he was the Deputy PA for Somerset and I worked in the Trading Standards team. He was always wiling to provide guidance when needed. He will be sadly missed.

I was lucky enough to know Chris as a colleague and to have supped many a pint in his convivial company. He’ll be sadly missed and my thoughts are with Steph during these difficult times.
