NORTHAM. The family of the late Myrtle would like to thank everyone who attended her funeral service at St Mary's Church, Hemyock, and for the kind messages of sympathy received. Donations of £388.21 to date are being shared between Marie Curie Cancer Care and Culm Davy Chapel. Our sincere thanks go to Christine Brown, Dr Amanda Leach, the Hemyock District Nurses, Marie Curie, Sally (Hospice Nurse), the Rapid Response Team and the Domiciliary Care Agency, as each and every one played a valuable role in enabling Myrtle's wish to die at home to be carried out. Special thanks to Bryan, Jason, John and David who carried Myrtle to her last resting place. Final thanks to the Reverend David Sherwood for officiating at the funeral service and to Martin Pring for handling the funeral arrangements.
