SAXBY Hugh of Stoke St Gregory, passed away at St Margaret's Somerset Hospice on 16th February 2009, aged 73 years. Husband of the late Sheila Saxby and a much loved and respected dad and grandfather, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. For many years Hugh was the promoter of Taunton Jazz Club and his funeral service will reflect his passion for jazz and a thanksgiving for his life. The service will be held at Taunton Deane Crematorium on Friday 27th February at 4.00pm. Donations for Cancer Research UK may be sent to the Funeral Directors, Nigel K. RICHARDS David Valentine of Lyngford Road, Taunton passed away at home, aged 62 years. David will be sadly missed by all his family and friends, especially by son David and his mum Barbara. Funeral service to take place on Friday 27th February at Taunton Deane Crematorium at 9.00am. REED Michael John ‘Mick’, R.N retired, of Drayton on 21st February in Yeovil Hospital aged 68 years, after a long illness bravely fought. A much loved husband, dad, and granddad, will be very sadly missed by all who knew him. The funeral will take place on
Friday 27th February at St. Catherine’s Church, Drayton at 11.30 am followed by burial in the churchyard. FOOK Pin Wan, of Wilfred Road, Taunton, passed away at Musgrove Park Hospital on Sunday 15th February 2009, aged 72 years. The funeral service will be held today, Thursday 26th February at 12.00pm. HILL Lavinia Rose (née Rendell) died peacefully at home on 22nd February 2009 after a courageous battle against cancer, aged 70. Much loved wife of Michael, dearest mother of Diana, Martin, Jenny and Mark, mother-in-law of Charlotte and grandmother of Olivia. A service of thanksgiving will take place in St Andrew's Church, Stogursey on Monday 9th March at 11.30am. CADE Jack of Dellers Court, Taunton, formerly of Trull Road, passed peacefully away at Musgrove Park Hospital on Monday 23rd February 2009, aged 86 years. Wife of the late June and a beloved father of Stuart and Angela. Funeral service to take place at Taunton Deane Crematorium on Friday 6th March at 12.00 noon.
