NORSWORTHY David The funeral of David Norsworthy took place at Bishops Lydeard Church and Taunton Crematorium on Friday 3rd March 2017, he will be sadly missed by his long term loving partner Maureen White and his family. We would like to thank the staff of the British Legion Dunkirk Home for Old Soldiers and the Social Workers who catered so well for David's needs over a protracted period of time and made his last days so comfortable. David has been associated with Taunton for many years and will be remembered amongst the licensed trade as the Landlord of the Blue Ball Inn, Triscombe. David was a honorary member of The Coldstream Guards for many years. He also served as Secretary of the Licensed Victuallers Association and ran the skittling league. Another of his interests was volunteering on the West Somerset Railway where he served and entertained the passengers in the refreshment carriage. He recently celebrated his 90th Birthday. Special thank you to Zoe Holman David's Social Worker who was there at David's passing and all staff as St. Margaret's Somerset Hospice. To Peter Lock, Mr D Knotley, Mr & Mrs G Hendry, The R.I.B. Association, SAFFA Association and Grenadier Guard's Association for their help. Also thanks to all the staff at E. White and Son Funeral Directors for their care and attention.
