TRBC - you're showing yourself up again. 24675 people from the area disagree with you. Which means he probably IS welcome in Bridgwater, just not your house.

To be honest looking at the ballot papers as they came in for counting ILG did not have majority support from the Bridgwater area by a long way. Unfortunately this was obviously not the case in the rest of the ward. Whatever happens now with central government nothing has changed for Bridgwater. We have the same Tory MP along with the Tory run district council, and the same important local issues that have to be resolved. We must now make sure that the people of Bridgwater make ILG work for his money.

perhaps trbc should put as much effort into promoting the town and local area rather than critising everyone for having a comment, perhaps he should stand for election next time to see how many vote for him but then he would have to show his face and it is easier to name call anonomously!!!!

TRBC it seems that all this fuss about ILG and his 3rd term in office has upset you somewhat as it appears that "brain to fingers" is not working as it ought to for you. No doubt you were dribbling with rage when you wrote your last rant. Keep it up as you make me smile……………

Good point regards the level of vote for ILG. I didn't give it a thought; he is there by default and on a minority. OK he courted the highest SINGLE vote, but 55% of the electorate plainly didn't want him. Bloke is a waste of space; he does NOTHING for his constituency, does not answer his post, return phone calls etc. Question; Has he actually achieved or done anything tangible? I’ve said before he is in place in a very comfortable seat, had he been in a marginal he would have been voted out. Problem here give a dog a blue collar, put it up for election and it will win.
