SMALL businesses in the UK are increasingly optimistic about the future according to the 'Voice of Small Business Index' from the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
Confidence, as reported among smaller firms in the Small Business Index has increased for the fourth consecutive quarter.
This is good news for local businesses and a further sign that the economy is starting to grow again.
Businesses need to act now to plan for this growth.
Expanding without a plan can leave businesses short of working capital.
It is possible to see sales increasing, profits going up and for the business to run out of money because more and more cash is tied up in stock and debtors.
