THE County Gazette is today proud to offer the biggest competition prize in the paper’s history – a dream wedding worth more than £20,000! We have teamed up with Weddings at Taunton School and Buff Urban Day Spa to offer this stunning prize.

One lucky Somerset couple will win their wedding – and that means everything from the hen party and all you need for a perfect big day through to romantic safari honeymoon accommodation in Kenya.

Entry is free and all couples need to do to take part is tell us why they should win!

Couples can nominate themselves or can be put forward by family or friends – and we’ll feature all entries in the paper.

The competition is NOW OPEN, so get your entries in.

The deadline for entries is 9am on Monday, December 1   2008, after which a panel of judges will short-list the entries to the lucky finalists.

We will then feature each of the couples in the County Gazette before inviting YOU, our readers, to vote for your favourite entry – the one with the most votes will be the winner!

The short-listed couples will be invited as VIP guests to the Taunton School Wedding Fair on March 29, 2009, when the winner will be announced.

If the winning couple is not present at the Fair, the prize will be given to the couple with the second highest number of votes.

The lucky couple will be then able to meet the generous local organisations who will help them create the day of their dreams in summer 2009.
