A NEW advertising campaign was launched last week in Somerset encouraging friends of victims of domestic violence to report offences.
Titled Enough, the poster, press and radio campaign will run throughout April and forms of part of a Government drive against domestic violence which has also seen specialist courts established in Bridgwater and Yeovil.
Home Office Minister Baroness Scotland said: "Everyone should be able to live without the fear of violence and abuse in their own homes. But we know that for too many people, especially women and children, fear is present everyday. "I urge anyone who is suffering or who knows a loved one who is a victim of this cowardly crime to come forward and seek the help that is out there.
"It is not interfering - it is intervening and doing the right thing."
