THREE primary school pupils from across Taunton have been awarded scholarships to an independent school.
Mudia Eribo from Parkfield Primary School, Bea Kirk from St George’s School, and Ruby Beresford-Knight from Creech St Michael will be joining King's College schools in September after demonstrating exception potential. .
Headmaster at King’s Hall, Justin Chippendale said: “Mudia, Bea and Ruby have all impressed with their enthusiasm, talent, personality and strong desire to explore their full potential. We are excited to have them join what is already a dynamic year group.”

Also joining the school is Catherine Hayton from Perrott Hill Prep School.
Catherine was awarded the school’s Festival Cricket Scholarship, alongside an academic and a full sports scholarship.
Richard Biggs, headmaster at King’s College, said: “Catherine performed at a high level across the range of academic exams and displayed a very special ability as an original and creative thinker.”

Director of sport, Phil Lewis, added: “Catherine showed impressive power, agility and footwork and performed well in all of her chosen sports. There is no doubt she would fit in well and add terrific value to the sporting community.”
