Three people have been testedf for avian flu
Ten thousand chickens will be slaughtered and three people have been tested for bird flu after confirmation of an outbreak at a farm in Hampshire.
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) said a "low severity" outbreak of avian flu has been confirmed in chickens in the village of Upham.
Three people, including a Defra official, were tested for the disease after showing symptoms but were found to be negative.
MP for Meon Valley George Hollingbery, whose constituency includes the farm where the outbreak is, said there was no cause for concern.
