THE attraction of the “no reserve, everything must go” appeal of the monthly sales at Sedgemoor Auction Centre, Junction 24, North Petherton, continues to go from strength to strength.

Hundreds of people squeezed into the venue last Thursday and watched as 645 lots went under the hammer.

Regular buyers were augmented by those attending the South West Rare Breeds Show and Sale. None went away disappointed with the range of goods on offer from furniture to ceramics at knockdown prizes it is virtually impossible to leave without a bargain.

All lots are sold without reserve and there is no facility to leave commission bids so if you want to buy something you need to be in the room to bag a bargain. The sale rate of 95 per cent of goods offered shows that buyers are more than happy to make time for this monthly treasure trove of bargains.

The next sale takes place on Thursday, October 20. There is plenty of free parking on site and sale catalogues are also free.

The sale starts at 10.30am with viewing from 9am. Goods for the sale may be dropped off the day prior between 9am and 4pm. For more information please contact Mike Hooper at Greenslade Taylor Hunt on 01823-332525.
