Trade was a touch firmer than last week with some good bunches of forward stores on offer. A packed ring of buyers again for all classes of cattle presented by the 105 Vendors.

Top price was £1350 for a forward Blue (28m & FA) from Tom Jeanes, North Curry who also topped the heifers. Well done Tom. Other Blues to £1320 (29m & FA) from Steve Legg & Son, Dorchester and £1240 (22m & FA) from Messrs KJ & CP Dunn, Dinder. Pair of big framed Blues from Messrs AW Selly & Son, South Molton sold at £1195 (23m & FA). Two good bunches of eight Blues at 16/17m and FA from Mr R May, Marwood also sold well at £1100 and £1045.
