Store Lambs (2704): A larger entry of 2704 store lambs sold to a hesitant trade at the start of the sale, however, as the sale progressed the trade improved to levels at least on a par with last week. The best sold to £84.50 from Mr D Tucker. Stock Rams (163): A total of 163 forward for our catalogued sale of MV and non MV accredited rams sold to a good trade overall. Top price went to Mr TG Ball who sold a cracking pedigree 2T Texel for £555. Charollais 2T forward from Mr T Newth reached £500 when another sold to £460. Weaners (15): A much reduced entry sold to a very fast trade giving an overall average of £42.80. Best topped at £50 from Mr E Lye. More required to satisfy demand.

Stores (58): First class trade sold to a top of £144 for quality pigs from Mr JP Burnett. Others to £140 from Mr J Baker and £137 from Mr KH Tucker. Coloured pigs to £128 from Mr J Baker and a good run of 5 pens from Mr LE Miller & Son sold to £122.
