SITUATION

The well regarded parish of Stawley is in a beautiful part of Somerset with rolling countryside, which remains completely unspoilt. Whilst the setting is rural, the area is by no means isolated and benefits from relatively easy access to communication links and surrounding districts. The parish maintains an active community and includes a church, primary school, village hall and a combined village shop and post office.

Wellington is within 6 miles and offers supermarkets, health centre and a range of independent shops, whilst the county town of Taunton and the cathedral city of Exeter offer a greater range of shops, amenities, sixth form colleges and Exeter University. There is an excellent range of schools in Wellington, Tiverton and Taunton, both in the Independent and State sectors.

The M5 is easily accessible at J26 (Wellington) and J27 (Tiverton), providing great links to Cornwall to the south and Bristol and London to the north and east. There are regular rail services to London Paddington from Tiverton Parkway and Taunton, and Bristol and Exeter International Airports provide a number of domestic and international flights.
