Musician Jack Bird to play Taunton

SOMERSET singer and songwriter Jack Bird (pictured), soon to appear in Taunton, has been gaining fans and industry supporters far and wide.

Tennessee and Texas radio have been playing his music both on air and to industry insiders in the US.

Jack is now in discussion with agents in Nashville to bring his version of twisted country blues music to a larger American audience.

He is now number eight in the UK country charts – visit Reverbnation.|com Q magazine describes Jack’s live performance as “bar room brawls, smoky pool rooms, dusty highways and full of whiskey-aching songs”.

Mark Venus will present Jack at the Grove, 40 Kingston Road, Taunton on Saturday, February 5, from 8pm. Entrance is free.
