THE Reduced Shakespeare Company will bring their latest take on the work of the Bard to the Tacchi Morris.

William Shakespeare’s Long Lost First Play (abridged) will be performed at the arts and theatre centre on Friday, March 10.

Written by Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor, the production sees the Reduced Shakespeare Company return with another irreverent and comedic celebration of our cultural heritage – as seen through the eyes of three Americans wearing trainers.

In a nod to the Bard’s 400th anniversary, the bad boys of abridgement present this ‘new’ play by the man himself, as discovered in a Leicester car park.

The show, has been mercifully abridged by the RSC from its full hundred hour running time to a more palatable ninety minutes.

Tickets, costing £19 or £18 for concessions, are available at tacchi-morris.com or by calling 01823 414141.
