ART lovers will be in seventh heaven this weekend.

They will be looking forward to this May Bank Holiday as this is when the Open Studio event burst into life and colour.

One of the artists taking part in the Open Studio weekend is Chinks Grylls.

She has been a professional international glass artist for over 35 years.

She received the RSA Art for Architecture Award for her work on Bishop Fox’s School, Taunton with Somerset County Council.

Her studio is in the beautiful environment of Quantock Lodge, a superb 19th century neo Gothic mansion built by Henry Labouchere, MP and 1st Lord Baron Taunton,at the foot of the Quantock Hills in Aley, Over Stowey.

There will be a variety of Contemporary Glass Works both wall and window hung, including free standing glass screens and a Sale of coloured glass sheet.

The studio will be open from 10am - 6pm each day. Go see the work and meet the artist.

The indoor swimming pool is open 10.30am-12.30pm on the Sunday morning.
