FOR their 2017 outdoor summer tour, Taunton Thespians are telling tales: not any old tales, but four of Chaucer’s best: the Wife of Bath’s Tale, the Miller’s Tale, the Reeve’s Tale and the Nun’s Priest’s Tale.

Spicy, saucy and colourful, these tales stand the test of time and have been jauntily translated into modern rhyming couplets by Jeremy Secker in such a way that they are instantly understood and enjoyed.
