THE juxtaposition of juggling gyroscopic gymnastic skills moved seamlessly into place in One Man and his Doll.

The machine like movements of the man (Harry Clements) and his Mannequin (Kirsty Eddington) gave life to the circus style dance which enthralled the crowd.

This quintessential quirky dance of man and marionette was executed with aplomb for those who watched but with microscopic detail to the two performers.

Somerset County Gazette:

At the beginning it was Harry entertaining the crowd with juggling hats and umbrellas while he waited for Dolly to appear.

Her appearance began with him dragging a suitcase onto the stage and opening it up to produce his Marionette who was more than human than you would expect.

Somerset County Gazette:

It was interesting to see the way in which Kirsty as the marionette could not move as a human but had to move as a mannequin would. The straight arm movements punctured by her arm being put into place by Harry.

It was a puppeteer moving his marionette without pulling any strings but moving her limbs into place.

This was one of a series of free shows which were being performed outside the Brewhouse in Taunton.

Somerset County Gazette:

Both Kirsty and Harry who make up Pocket Fluff Productions then led the children in a circus skills session.
