GET me to the theatre on time might be the cry from audience members wanting to see Bridgwater Operatic Society’s production of ‘My Fair Lady’.

Tickets are already selling fast. for the musical which comes to The McMillan Theatre Bridgwater from May 1-5.

Director, James Tucker, said the cast was one of the most talented he had worked with and he was sure that the show would rival the very best award winning productions that the society had presented over the years.

sparkles with wit, elegance and romance and tells the story of an Edwardian cockney flower girl’s transformation into the pride of London society.

Bridgwater Operatic Society’s production will transport you from the streets where you live to the flower markets of Covent Garden; to the racecourse at Ascot and the glittering heights of an Embassy ball.

With a score and book by Lerner and Lowe, based on George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion, the show is packed with all-time classics such as Wouldn’t it be Loverly?, With a Little Bit of Luck, I Could Have Danced All Night and On The Street Where You Live, and many, many more.
