A pop singer with serious soul, Bluey Robinson is one of the most exciting prospects of 2011.

Encapsulating a throwback feel with a futuristic twist he will be releasing street-track ‘Coming Back’ on November 6 – and will be appearing in Bristol on Friday (November 4). The track, written by Wayne Hector (Britney, JLS, James Morrison) is the antitheses of 90% of chart friendly fodder. It packs in live instrumentation, giving it an air of Gnarls Barkley or Mark Ronson, while retaining Bluey’s own personality.

“This song makes me so happy when I sing it; it’s an old school feel with a new school swagger. It's a song about heading out and chasing your dreams, ‎but letting the people who you love the most know that you'll come back for them.”

Not only an enigmatic performer who brilliantly balances the line between commercial and credible, it’s impossible not to be immediately won over by Bluey’s skilled songwriting, ear-grabbing melodies and killer choruses.

There aren’t many people who can trend worldwide on Twitter off the back of only one TV performance, on This Morning. He’s also had over 1.5million Youtube views, has over 60,000 twitter followers and an army of celebrity fans including boxer David Haye and fashionista Nicole Farhi. Not bad for an artist only just starting his career.

It’s been a busy year so far for Bluey, who already has a string of live performances under his belt, including warming up the crowd as the support act for Tinie Tempah, Justin Bieber and Alexis Jordan as well as a show stopping performance at this year’s iTunes festival.
