BASED on the true story of a serial killer who terrified the San Francisco Bay Area and taunted authorities in four jurisdictions with his ciphers and letters, Zodiac is a thriller from David Fincher, director of Se7en and Fight Club, out this Friday at Taunton's Odeon Cinema.

Starring Jake Gyllenhall, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Edwards hunting down the hunter becomes an obsession for the four men, an obsession that turns them into ghosts of their former selves.

The Lives of Others, previously out on limited release, is now out from tomorrow until Wednesday.

Set in East Berlin, November 1984 the plot follows the former East-German government five years before its downfall.

This film from Sony Pictures Classic stars Martina Gedeck, Ulrich Muehe, Sebastian Koch and Ulrich Tukur.

Also out tomorrow is Magicians, starring the Peep Show actors David Mitchell and Robert Webb.

The movie was written for them by Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong, who also created their cult Channel 4 sitcom.

The Odeon's special Director's Chair film showing next Tuesday (May 22), is Flags of Our Fathers.

The film is set in February, 1945, as one of the fiercest battles of the Pacific theatre of World War Two occurs on the tiny island of Iwo Jima.
