THIS delightful British comedy went under the radar when it was first released in 2014.
It tells the story of a father and his nine-year old son, Tom, who team up to save Christmas once they discover Santa Claus sleeping in their garage after crashing his sleigh and finding himself on the run from the police.
At first Tom's parents don't believe him but he finally manages to convince his dad and the fun begins.
Despite the best efforts of father and son, poor old Father Christmas ends up in prison, much to the delight of the inmates, but Tom (Kit Connor) worries it means Christmas won't happen.
The pair decide to free Santa from his cell and end up in an hilarious series of adventures and pursuits with the
none too please police force.
There are reindeer running through the streets of London and presents appearing all over the place. Jim Broadbent who plays Santa delivers a fine performance even though his good nature causes problems for Tom's dad, Steve (Rafe Spall).
This is a movie all the family can enjoy as it carries a U certificate. Look out for Warrick Davis.
The film is being shown as part of the CICCIC's neighbourhood cinema series. Saturday, December 12 at 4pm.
Seating at CICCIC includes comfy sofas, arm chairs and normal chairs which are available on a first come, first serve basis.
