A tragic story of a hospital mix-up and its consequences is the latest offering from Cinema Obscura.
Like Father Like Son (PG) tells the story of Ryota, a hard worker who believes nothing can stop him from pursuing his perfect life.
One day, he and his wife, Midori, receive an unexpected phone call to tell them their 6-year old son, Keita, is not their son - the hospital gave them the wrong baby at birth.
Director Koreeda sensitively explores the impact of this news on the two families and, of course, the children. There are some challenging, life defining decisions to be made. Winner of the Cannes Jury Prize Film Festival 2013. In Japanese with English Subtitles
