Motown legend Diana Ross could be heading for Glastonbury – if Emily Eavis has her way.

Festival organiser Emily told Digital Spy that she wanted the soul diva to play at a future Worthy Farm event. She also revealed that Cat Stevens was on her wishlist.

According to Emily, music legends are easily the most popular bookings amongst festival-goers: “With that many songs you can’t go wrong.”

Lionel Richie, who sang the theme song to Endless Love alongside Diana in 1981, is due to play at Glastonbury this weekend. Florence + The Machine, Kanye West and The Who will be this year’s headliners.

The three headline acts for 2016 have already been booked, Emily also revealed.

Diana, 71 – a former member of The Supremes and famous for hits like Where Did Our Love Go, Baby Love, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough and Chain Reaction – still performs live, with two US performances scheduled for September.

Glastonbury Festival 2015 takes place June 24-28.
