FOLLOWING impressive critical reaction to a sell-out duo show in Netherlands last year, Jo Harman decided to embark on a limited tour of voice and piano shows in the UK at selected venues.

And the special intimate show will head to Bridgwater Arts Centre on September 16, featuring soulful, compelling performances.

However, the award-winning vocalist will not only perform ‘bare-to-the-bone’ versions of her own songs, but also her own take on songs that mean something special to her.

She is widely recognised as one of the finest vocalists of her kind to emerge in Europe over recent years, and has the CV, touring schedule and industry admirers to back it up.

Career highlights to date include performing at around 100 festivals in recent years, recording a Jo Harman Live at The Royal Albert Hall recorded by the BBC album and playing ParkPop in the Hague to 300,000 people.

“In this duo show, Jo really takes you on an emotional journey and, if the Dutch shows were anything to go by, be prepared not to leave the show dry eyed,” said a spokesman.

The show gets underway at 8pm and tickets cost £15, £13 for concessions. For more information and to book, visit bridgwaterartscentre.co.uk.
