THE MUSICAL rhythm of Simon & Garfunkel will be recreated at the Princess Theatre in Burnham later this month.

On Thursday, June 15, Bookends will perform the most authentic sounding tribute to the unforgettable music of Simon & Garfunkel.

The duo comprising of Dan Haynes and Pete Richards.

The pair in Bookends have toured extensively with their concerts being described as ‘simply breathtaking’.

They perform all of Simon & Garfunkel’s songs in a truly captivating way.

The duo achieve this against a backdrop of images and video footage, their delicate recreation of the unmistakable sound of the American folk-rock duo is something of a masterpiece and has taken Bookends to prestigious venues in the UK and America.

Stuart Cameron, BBC and ITV Broadcaster described Bookends as: “One of the greatest tribute shows anywhere in the world” - Audience’s can hear many of Simon & Garfunkel’s hits such as ‘The Sound of Silence’, ‘Mrs Robinson’ and ‘The Boxer’ and Bookends’ own beautiful rendition of the unforgettable ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’.

With early folk gems such as the haunting ‘Sparrow’ and wonderfully poetic ‘Bleecker Street’, alongside music of Simon & Garfunkel’s solo careers, the concert is must see for any music lover.

Bookends single ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ came out on May 8, and is available on all major download stores.

Tickets for the show which starts at 7.30pm cost £16 standard and £15 for concessions.
