LOCAL promoters Fuelled By Cider are excited to announce another night of live music at The Winchester Arms on Sunday, October 8, as much-lauded Dublin band The Eskies bring their gentleman’s gypsy folk sound to the county town.

Fresh from a summer that saw them take in over 40 festivals in 5 countries, including the likes of Glastonbury, Beautiful Days and Cambridge Folk, this is an opportunity to see the band before they move into the next stratosphere.

Purveyors of music that meanders from sea soaked waltz to Italian tarantella, from Brassy funeral march-esque lament to weep along Klezmar knees up, from chain gang holler to ragtime finger snap, The Eskies are renowned for their infectious live show and audience rapport.

Support comes from Celtic folk-punks Black Water County who have built up an impressive reputation and following of their own over the last few years, and look set to hit the big time in 2018.

Tickets are £10 advance from The Winchester Arms and Bath Place Music or online at fuelledbycider.com

Tickets cost £12 on the door.

This is an 18+ event and ID may be required.
