THIS week The Guide launches Tracks of my Life.
Each week, a different person selects their five tracks.
Kicking it off is Chris Holmes, the drummer in Taunton band October Drift.
Track One:
Johnny Cash- Hurt
Good enough to make Trent Reznor cry. Best version of this song.
Track Two:
Sia- Chandalier In my opinion one of the best, most relevant pop songs ever written.
Track Three:
Elvis Presley- If I can dream.
Anything that was written in the 60’s and manages to connect with a guy born in the 90’s must be an amazing song.
Track Four:
M83 - This bright flash No audible lyrics, yet somehow manages to create huge euphoria.
Track Five:
The National -About today Amazing song, amazing band.
