David's Tracks of my life are:

Track 1. The Bare Necessities by Baloo (from the Jungle Book)

Always a show off, at the age of four I would put this on and perform it (through the patio doors) to the compost heap at the bottom of the garden.

Track 2. Graceland by Paul Simon

On long car jouneys down to southern french campsites I was first hit by Paul Simon's brilliant and confusing lyrics and how words in a song could be a kind of poetry.

Track 3. You're Gorgeous by Babybird

This reminds me of a girlfriend I 'Han Sloloed', she said she loved me and I said 'I know'.

Track 4. 'Little Bob' by Black Grape

A brilliant closing trach to a brilliant album ('It's Great When Your Straight ... Yeah!'), this makes me think of my misspent youth at university.

Track 5. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi by Radiohead

My favourite song of all time has lyrics and music that contain such a basic longing that you can't quite put your finger on.
