THIS week's Tracks of my Life is with Andy Pulleyn, centre director at Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre in Taunton.

TRACK1: Man in the Mirror - Michael Jackson

Bad was the first album I owned as a child and I played it non-stop on my cassette recorder. There were so many great songs on the album but Man in the Mirror was probably my favourite. I may also have subjected my family to some terrible dancing as I practiced my MJ moves.

TRACK 2: Wonderwall – Oasis

This simple but brilliant song was important as I remember me and my friend watching Oasis play it on Top of the Pops and then deciding ‘we could do that’ and so learnt to play guitar. Sadly we couldn’t quite achieve what Oasis did, but I can now play guitar, kind of.

TRACK 3: Laid – James

On the journey to not becoming a rock star this was the first song me, my brother and two friends played in our first ever live gig. It was my sister’s birthday party and this classic song really got the party started.

TRACK 4: Mojo Pin – Jeff Buckley

I love this Jeff Buckley song as it takes me back to university in Liverpool and meeting lots of new people who introduced me to lots of great music I hadn’t heard before. My friend Marcus Bonfanti who is now a Blues artist introduced me to Jeff and I’ve been forever grateful.

TRACK 5: Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels) – Arcade Fire

Probably the best gig I ever went to was a packed small venue where we waited, for what felt like hours, until Arcade Fire took to the stage. They eventually did and blew away the audience with their passionate, committed performance. This song was particularly amazing and led to an impromptu acapella audience reprise at the end.
