Angelina Jolie has spilled some of the secrets from her wedding to Brad Pitt, saying it “feels nice to be husband and wife”.
The Maleficent star married Fury actor Brad in a small, private ceremony at their French estate Chateau Miravel in August, with just 20 guests there to celebrate.
According to the Daily Mirror, Angelina told US Vanity Fair that their six children had played a big part in the day: “They (the kids) did not expect us never to fight, but they always made us promise to say sorry if we do. So they said ‘do you?’ and we said: ‘We do!’
“It does feel different, it feels nice to be husband and wife.”
Angelina continued that kids Pax, Maddox, Vivienne, Knox, Shiloh and Zahara, whose drawings decorated her veil, had helped to organise the details of the day.
She said: “There was no cake so Pax made a cake. The kids made little pillows for the rings and Knox practised (being the ring bearer) with an acorn that kept falling off the pillow.
“Brad’s mum went and picked some flowers and tied them up.”
The wedding took place in the chapel at Chateau Miravel and the couple hosted a lunch at their house after the ceremony, with rose wine from their own vineyard.
