Caitlyn Jenner has told how her biggest question about being transgender is whether she is doing it right.

The former Olympic athlete and reality TV star made the transition from Bruce to Caitlyn recently and admitted she was still learning a lot from her new transgender friends.

She wrote in her first blog post for WhoSay, The Real Me: “Up until now, I have totally isolated myself from the transgender community so I have a lot of catching up to do. I feel such a responsibility to this courageous group to try to get it right and tell all sides of the story. To me, that’s always the biggest question: am I doing it right?”

She went on: “I’ve already learned so much about this community, the issues, and the people involved. It’s been an eye-opening experience for me — mainly realising how fortunate I am.”

Caitlyn also wrote about the bullying and prejudice many of her new friends had faced: “Seeing how my new friends have overcome their adversities is such an inspiration. They are so well-adjusted and smart. I’ll be sharing their stories here in the coming weeks and I can’t wait for you to get to know them. They are just like you and me.”

Meanwhile, a new trailer has been released for Caitlyn’s upcoming E! documentary series, I Am Cait, which shows her enjoying a catch-up with her new friends.

In the trailer, she can also be seen meeting young people and telling them, “Hang out with the people that love you and respect you”, as well as finding out that her mum feels she has “gained” someone new in her life rather than losing a son.

However, at one point during the show Caitlyn is seen showing off one of her new dresses to step-daughter Kim Kardashian – before being told that Kim’s mum and Caitlyn’s ex Kris Jenner owns the same frock.
