THERE is an art attack at the Brewhouse Theatre thanks to school children across Taunton.
Taunton Live Schools Art Exhibition showcases artwork from over 1,000 school children within Taunton Deane spanning ages four to 19yrs Schools/Colleges Open Visual Arts Competition for 14-19 year old students living/ studying in Taunton Deane, featuring work in 2D, 3D and photography categories “Climate” Schools’ Competition for Y7-9 students living/studying in Taunton Deane, also featuring 2D, 3D and photography categories ‘Blowing in the Wind” an exhibition of art produced by primary school children to celebrate their own identity under the umbrella of our festival aim.
Vanessa Lefrançois, chief executive, The Brewhouse Theatre said: “We are delighted to present Go Create’s wonderful schools and young people’s art exhibition, during the Taunton Live Arts Festival.
“The gallery spaces are laden with vibrant, witty and powerful examples of visual art and poetry. “It’s exciting to see that there are so many talented young artists and writers in Taunton who have used this opportunity to express themselves and their ideas in bold artistic and imaginative ways.”
