COMPUTERS 4 Africa provides life changing solutions for the disposing of your redundant working PC.

Your computer could be reused giving someone else an education and opportunities for a better way of life.

Our charity encourages the local community to drop off their unwanted working computers, laptops, keyboards, flat screen monitors and other PC accessories at our local appeal.

Our service is environmentally sound, ethical and free. All the computers we receive are securely data wiped to Ministry of Defence standards before being sent to schools and community projects across Africa.

This event takes place at Computers 4 Africa, Unit 2 Taunton Retail Park, Taunton and runs today, Thursday and Friday, from 10am-4pm.

Friday, February 23

- Trish Morrissey: a certain slant of light at Hestercombe Gallery

BASED at Hestercombe Gallery, 11am - 4pm. It runs until February 25.

Open every day Photographer Trish Morrissey brings two brand new bodies of work to the Hestercombe Gallery, inspired by the last female occupants of Hestercombe House, Miss Warre (1790- 1872) and Mrs Portman (1854-1951) who both independently ran the Hestercombe estate.

Morrissey has created the work, that includes stills and film, through a residency at Hestercombe – immersing herself in the individual’s lives through archive material such as photographs, drawings, and letters.

- The Milverton Concert Society presents Live Classical Music by Martin James Bartlett Playing Scarlatti, Beethoven, Scriabin, Liszt and Rachmaninov.

It all takes place at Milverton Parish Church, Milverton, Somerset from 7.30pm-10.30pm.

- TAUNTON Wildlife Watch -

- Bird boxes and wildlife spotting It may seem a long way off but Spring will soon be on the minds of our urban and garden birds and it won’t be long before they start looking for nests in which to lay their eggs.

At the groups next meeting, it will be helping them in their mission by building bird boxes which you can take home to put up in your garden.

They are also going on a walk around Longrun Meadow, looking for some of the different birds that make Taunton their home and maybe some other bird themed activities.

For this session all children remain accompanied by their parent or carer throughout.

Takes place at SWT offices, 34 Wellington Road, TA1 5AW. Parking is available at the office.
