OVER 80 creatives have reworked a plain A5 block into art for donation to a charity auction for Musgrove Park Hospital on Tuesday, May 20.
The twice-yearly event, ‘Art For Life’, will be held at the hospital’s Beacon Centre at 6pm, in a bid to raise money for enhancing the hospital environment for patients.
Lisa Harty, Art and Design Co-ordinator for the Hospital, said: “We are very proud of this extremely successful event, and the huge support we gain from the artists who donate their work.
“The artworks that will be auctioned at our event this year will include drawings, paintings, prints, glass work, collages and even sculptures.”
All blocks are viewable on www.artforlife.nhs.uk with people able to make pre-bids. Tickets to attend the auction cost £8, on 01823-342488 or email artforlife@tst.nhs.uk
