THE 12th annual James Norie Memorial Charity Football Match and family fun day is being held on Sunday at the Wyvern Club from 1pm.
The day has a dual purpose. To remember James who died in 2000 after battling drug addiction and to raise funds for the Taunton Association for the Homeless.
The event, which is sponsored by Barclays Bank, has raised about £25,000 over the years.
The football teams are made up mainly of 'Jimbo's' friends and the match starts at 2pm.
There will be a barbecue and entertainment throughout the day which will include a bouncy castle, a radar goal challenge, a coconut shy, wet sponge stocks, a buzz-wire, a crossbar challenge, a golf chipping competition and a children's disco.
There is also a raffle with over £500 worth of prizes.
The entertainment continues into the evening with a karaoke and disco.
