AN EXHIBITION of photographs and artwork from disaster-struck Haiti will be in Minehead from next week.
The country hit the headlines in 2010 when an earthquake hit, followed by Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
The ‘I Witness’ event brings the work of Christian Aid to the forefront and will run from September 7-28.
The first venue of the tour will be St Andrew’s Church, followed by Toucan Wholefoods (September 15-22) and West Somerset College (September 23-25). Alcombe Methodist Church will be the last venue from September 26-28.
Organiser Ruth Gasperini said: “A group of us from local churches have been working for months to get this exhibition to Minehead. We really hope people will take this chance to see how the contributions people in our town make to Christian Aid get used.”
