BEWARE of the wolf this October as storytellers and musicians come to Taunton’s Brewhouse Theatre.
Little Wolf Gang presents Peter and the Wolf and other wild musical tales, bringing accomplished storyteller
Martin Maudsley, together with virtuoso musicians Eddy Jay, David Adams and Fiona Barrow, in a new show which translates the enduring brilliance of Prokofiev’s masterpiece into a thrilling theatrical interaction between classical music and storytelling.
The show’s centrepiece story follows of a brave little boy’s adventurous encounter with a wild wolf and is complemented by two other marvellously musical tales from the Russian forest – a daring fiddler meets a devilish stranger by the crossroads and a foolish woodcutter wishes for more.
The event is on Thursday, October 30, with a workshop at 1.30pm and performance at 2.30pm.
