A GOOD night out is assured on Friday, October 24, when Cwmploddy, an original comedy drama from South Wales, comes to the Regal Theatre, Minehead

The funny plot follows the life of Doris Jones and her daughter, Bonnie, who wants to be known as Bonifa Lauguifa Shaniqua Jones.

Bonnie wants to be famous, and drives her mother up the wall wanting the latest trends and magazines, but when it comes to leaving Cwmploddy, can she go through with it?

She will be leaving her mother and best friend behind.

Doris’ neighbour, Beryl, prides herself on knowing everyone’s business within the village, acting upper class and having no time for what she calls the ‘lower class’, apart from Doris, as she likes to interfere with Doris and Bonifa’s life.

With laughter from start to finish, this is a mix of Mrs Brown’s Boys, Gavin and Stacey and Hyacinth Bucket all rolled into one.

The performance on Friday starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £10/11.50/12.
