THE Warehouse Theatre in Ilminster welcomes the return of Teasing the Cat at 7:30pm this Saturday (November 8) in ‘A Band for All Seasons’.
Teasing the Cat perform a collection of songs, tunes and readings, taking the audience on a tour not just from January to December, but also around the world, encompassing music from the 13th to the 21st centuries.
Their show contains humour, virtuosity, warmth, interest, intrigue, history, geography and possibly a few 'what-on-earth-is-that-instrument' moments.
The five band members come from a variety of musical backgrounds and all are multi-instrumentalists, so the stage is awash with instruments - from the well known (violin, accordion, trumpet, piano, flute) to the more esoteric (hurdy-gurdy, cittern, double chantered Cornish bagpipes).
Tickets cost £9/8/7. To book your tickets call the Box Office on 07943779880.
