EXPECT some of the most memorable rock ‘n’ roll tunes – including Hippy Hippy Shake and Good Golly Miss Molly – when The Swinging Blue Jeans come to The Regal Theatre, Minehead, next week.
The Swinging Blue Jeans had a string of hits in the 1960s, including the above but also You’re No Good, It’s Too Late Now and Don’t Make Me Over.
Founder member Les Braid died in 2005 and fellow founder member Ray Ennis retired from the band in 2010.
The current line-up includes lead vocalist and lead guitar Alan Lovell, who has been with the band since the 1990s.
He is joined by Pete Oakman (bass/vocals) Jeff Bannister (keyboards/vocals) and Graham Hollingworth (drums).
The show is on Friday, February 13, at 7.30pm.
