TAUNTON'S premier chamber choir Amici will be letting their hair down with a performance at St James Church, Taunton on June 27.
The choir will show their lighter side with Midsummer Madness featuring a host of jazz.
They will be accompanied by a trio of Taunton talent including Colin Albery on piano, Ron Prentice on bass and Jamie Smale on drums. A featured work in the light-hearted programme will be George Shearing's Songs and Sonnets of Shakespeare.
The concert also features a host of uplifting swinging songs including a selection from Cole Porter, Gershwin and Rogers and Todd’s Mass in Blue as well as Rutter’s Feel the Spirit.
The event will start at 7.30pm, tickets £8.50 for adults of £5 for 12-18year olds and free for under 12’s.
