FANS of Cliff Richard and The Shadows can see the music legends take to the stage for the final time thanks to Taunton’s Odeon cinema.
On November 5 the cinema will be hosting an exclusive screening of the band’s final performance, filmed live at London’s O2 Arena in high definition and digital 5.1 surround sound.
Fans can enjoy all their favourite hits, through the cinema’s 3D projector, including Living Doll, The Young Ones, Apache and Bachelor Boy in stunning audio and visual quality.
General manager Pete Wallington said: “With new technology we can now provide local cinemagoers with a complete range of screenings to suit all tastes; everything from music concerts to football.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming Cliff Richard and The Shadows fans through our doors to enjoy a truly unique music experience.”
The cinema will also be using their high definition digital screen for the screening of opera, Cosi fan Tutte from the Salzburg Festival.
This will be the first time the cinema has been selected to be part of an exclusive screening of opera, which will be held at 2pm on December 14.
