Metal Night at the Perfect 5th (From Somerset County Gazette)

ROCKERS are in for a treat with a Metal Night at Taunton's Perfect 5th live music venue.

Romeo Must Die will headline the event on January 22 with guitarist Arron Darling who has just moved to Taunton.

The band is out to prove that this country is capable of producing world-class bands.

They will be joined by Taunton band Flayed Disciple who enjoyed a successful UK tour in November with Seregon, who will also feature in the show.

Flayed Disciple are cutting a new CD, which will be out late February, and are looking for a bassist to join the band.

The night will also include Maniacal Edge and Finest Bloodlust.

And if that isn't enough action, a human pincushion will stun audiences as he skewers himself with steel rods and hammers nails into his face.

Also joining him will be the Guns Girls, who will dance on stage during the evening.

Doors open 8pm. Tickets are £5, available from Martian Records or on the door.
