Day of fun coming to Blackdown Hills

A DAY of fun for all the family awaits at the Blackdown Hills Woodland Fair at Park Farm, near Wellington.
The event will feature free children’s activities, Somerset food and forestry demonstrations.
Youngsters will be able to enjoy fire lighting, den building and bush craft skills, among other things.
The event will also include wood carving demonstrations, furniture making, tree surgery, chainsaw carving, horse logging, bow and hurdle making, and willow and cleft work.
The event is on Saturday, July 7, and is open to the public from 10am. Entry is £7.50 for adults and free for children under 16. Free car parking will be available.
