I WOULD like the opportunity to thank all the consultants, doctors, physios, matrons, sisters, nurses, and all the staff concerned in my stay in hospital, both the day and the night staff.
I have nicknamed them “My Musgrove Angels”.
There are too many to name but they know who they are and I will continue to appreciate their help and kindness through my problems, giving me hope to one day being able once again to be able to dance across the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.
I collapsed at home when both my legs went to jelly, and with the help of the Piper Line and our wonderful Ambulance service was taken to Musgrove Hospital.
They have cared, nursed, cleaned, fed and encouraged me to exercise through thought the pain and tears to now walk slowly with a frame, and I hope to continue to improve with time.
Their dedication and professionalism keeps me trying to get fit again.
What a wonderful health service we have, and I hope all the problems it has will be sorted out and that they continue to provide their wonderful work for all who need it.
More power to their elbows.
