STAFF, volunteers and curators at the Museum of Somerset deserve to be congratulated for putting on a thoughtfully presented and fascinating free exhibition of works by the English Impressionists’ Camden Town Group: A Fragile Beauty - Art on the Blackdown Hills (1909 - 1925), which runs until July 8.
The award-winning refurbished museum has established itself as one of the treasures of Taunton in recent years, and this small show in their annual programme is a particular delight, including on loan paintings and prints that wouldn’t be out of place in major museums around the world.
Check it out while you can!
