CAN I give a big thank you to the land-owning community, specifically around the North Taunton area, for so generously selling even more of their land to the wonderful, socially-minded land speculators, sorry, I mean developers.
Both parties are well known for their concern for the poor and needy.
Indeed it brings tears to my eyes when seeing these lovely little houses going up um, everywhere; And me thinking these were greenfield sites.
Out of curiosity - what did you call areas that once had grass, trees, wildlife, all that kind of nonsense?
As for the houses I have seen being built over these past years, they are so quaint, I thought about housing my bunny rabbit in one of them.
Unfortunately, there were two problems.
They are so expensive, plus I would also be in trouble with the RSPCA for keeping an animal in a confined space with very little access for bunny to enjoy the outside.
I will always know that as long as we have these guardians of the countryside, with the antiquated, sorry, adequate safeguards from our elected representatives at heart, (after all, many of them are landowners to), we have nothing to fear.
